A Night at the Theater Became a Protest
GUAC was performed by activist Manuel Oliver, father of a Parkland victim and co-founder of Change the Ref. The play united a community in grief and action, with its most powerful moment offstage: the playbill unfolded into a protest poster. When the curtain fell, the audience took to the streets.
